July 20, 2016

Michael Goodwin and Laura Kenyon have recently secured convictions against three men who were part of a UK crime syndicate responsible for smuggling 35 afghan men, women and children into the UK as human cargo. The people smuggling conspiracy involved the logistical movement of the families on the run in Europe and fleeing persecution,  from Belgium to the port of Tilbury. A legitimate shipping route was used to avoid detection by customs and UKBA.   The asylum seekers were shipped in a sealed metal container . One person died during the crossing before the container was discovered.  Click here to read more.
