Noel Casey successfully defends client in multi-million pound VAT fraud case

Noel Casey has obtained acquittals for his client in a multi-million pound VAT fraud, tried for 7 weeks at Inner London Crown Court.  The case concerned five other defendants, often running cut-throat defences that implicated Noel’s clients.  It was alleged that the defendant was involved in VAT evasion and money laundering via a a complex web of companies extending from Hong-Kong to London and Cardiff, Cyprus, Hungary, Dubai and the Seychelles. As second defendant, Noel’s client was accused of playing a leading role. The jury returned verdicts on the third day of retiremenent.
