Before joining 18 Red Lion Court in July 2007, Marc Cannatella developed a successful criminal practice at East Anglian Chambers. He has suspended his practice to concentrate on other business interests.
When in practice, Marc undertook defence, prosecution and private prosecution work in all areas of Crime and Health & Safety. He prosecuted for the CPS in Essex and London. He also undertook private prosecution work at Crown Court level for solicitors in East Anglia, including benefit fraud cases. Defence work covered the full spectrum of Crime, including mid-level frauds.
Health & Safety work included defence cases and advising a district council on all issues referred to their legal team. He also undertook a large number of Courts Martial cases in both England and Germany, on the recommendation of the Army Legal Service. Magistrates' Court work included motoring offences, planning law, noise abatement and Food Standards Agency cases.
